It's been too long...

Holy cow, this is gonna be a long post. Be prepared!

Alright it has been WAY too long since my last post. (OVER A MONTH!)
Since summer has started, I've been home for 7 out of 19 days. I feel like summer's leavin, whether I'm havin fun or not. haha.
Well, The monday after school started, I was home-Until about 6pm. At 6, I went to Lehi. I was goin up to my sister's house in Lehi until my sister, her kids and I left to Wyoming two days later. So, I just helped her and her husband with the kids, for a few days, then we left. Wednesday morning at 7:30 everyone was woken up. Then, we dressed the kids, fed them, got all the bags in the car, and we took off at about 8:30. We were on the road for Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The Car ride was interesting. Between changing movies, to passing out drinks and snacks, it was great. It was a long 7 hours, but we got to my other sister's house by 4 or so.
We were there! Woot woot! We made it. The whole reason for going to Wyoming was to attend my nephew's baptism--which wasn't until Saturday. Tori was going up earlier than the rest of our family and I went with.
While we were in Wyoming, we helped watch 9 lil chillins at and under the age of 5. It was hectic most of the time with meals, snacks, and activities, but we all survived.
When Friday rolled around, relatives started arriving throughout the day, and I was anxious to seem my mom and dad. They finally got there---just in time for the kids' bed time. (Technically I am a kid, but I didn't have to go to bed with the others) The next morning everyone was everywhere, trying to get ready for the baptism. We drove the long distance to Candi and Mike's stake center, and we witnessed the baptism of my nephew Tighe. (Tighe was baptised on his birthday, cause it happened to be a saturday. :D)
After the baptism, and some lunch, we went to Lions Park. We canoed and played on the playground. It was a very fun filled saturday.
On Sunday mostly everyone was going home. BUT--before we could leave, My sisters braided my hair for Girls Camp, which started on Tuesday. Taraleigh, Tori, and Candi were all diligently working on my hair as I complained at how long it was taking. In the end, it was very cute. But, because it was done, that meant mom, dad, taraleigh, jordan, lilly, and I were all heading home. We packed the car, said our goodbyes, and heading toward the road home.
Once again it was a long ride, but we all survived. We left Candi's house at about 2 and got home at about 10. (We stopped along the way for dinner, which was about an hour long.)
Monday was a packing day. Crunching to get everything for Girls Camp was stressful but I lived. I was all packed and ready.
Tuesday morning I finalized last minute things and I was off. Mom dropped me at the stake center at about 11:15, and the bus was to arrive at noon. Ofcourse, there were lots of goodbye hugs and kisses, but I was ready.
Now, the buses are never on time. The bus got there at about 12:45. It was rediculous, but what can ya do?
We got to Mia Shalom at 2:30, and we all unpacked. I slept in the attic of the A frame Cabin, by the window in the back.
We did various crafts at camp, and it was great. We even helped put a styro-foam replica of the Salt Lake Temple together. It was a fun and spiritual expirience. (Even though it poured almost every day and it was FREEZING! Not to mention the ice cold water...)
Then last saturday i got back from girls camp. I was glad to be home and I was most excited about a warm shower. ;D
Now, this week so far, I have babysat. On monday I babysat Tori's kids for 5 and a half hours, then another 2 and a half on tuesday. I earned 40 dollars, so hey, it was worth it.
Last night I slept over at my bud Kate's house. We played bomberman, mario kart, and mario party on her game cube, then we made popcorn and watched Sleepless in Seattle. It was a good first 15 minutes of the show---until I fell asleep.
Now, today I have been lazy and sat on the computer pretty much all day. And later tonight, I have to go to the church for Young Womens/Young Mens. Yahoo!
Well, now that I have updated you all, I think it is time for my fingers to take a break from typing!
I promise I will post more often!

The directors are in charge...

Okay well I haven't updated in a while so I though I would get back into the swing of things!
Well, at school, I am the director of The Sound of Music. I had to shorten the script (almost 3 hours into 30 minutes) pick which songs could still be in (familiar ones were the best, but all the songs are SHORT!) and come up with props, costumes, and how the lighting/stage presence will be. Oh man it has been hectic but luckily i have 3 other co-directors. We have meetings every saturday, and today it was at my house. We discussed what we will be doing for this week, and we have almost got the entire musical blocked! WOOO! Anywho, after planning we ate PB&J's and Milk. (and Reisens for dessert :) It was a fun meeting and I am psyched to go to drama on Tuesday! :D

I'm sick.

I feel awful right now. I woke up a few minutes ago with a stuffy nose and my eyes "glued" together. I really don't want to go to school but I should. I kinda have nothing to do right now. Anyways, I have to blowdry my hair. (and I am NOT looking forward to it.) ttyl!
Love, Tess

First Performance of the Music Man

Yesterday at 5 AM I woke up so that I could curl my hair for my first performance of the Music Man. I got my hair done at six then I ate some yummy oatmeal. Then, it was time to leave to my middle school. We arrived there at 6:35. Then, I went right to work with helping other girls with their hair. (I was appointed the official hair curler)In the middle of doing hair, i had to get make up on. It looked great and I was excited! Between 7 and 8 everyone was putting final touches on costumes and hair and makeup. Then at 8 we all warmed up our voices until 8:20 when half the school was coming down and quickly filling the auditorium. As we saw all the faces, my friends and I got anxious. It was happening, time to preform. It went smoothly and I had a lot of fun doing it. (Even though I was DEAD TIRED after preforming for 3 hours) Other than that though, I had fun. :D

An Update on things...

WOW! I haven't written in a while now. Life is hectic with school and friends and play practice and sports and family, even I can't keep up! Anywho let's get down to business.
School. I am doing pretty well. I have gotten a 4.0 every term so far, and there's only one more to go. :D I am currently really liking my foods class, and believe it or not, i LOVE my math class. I am taking Algebra 1 and it is fun, but hard at the same time. I am doing pretty well and I was asked to tutor my brother Tynan, even though he is 8 years older than me. I took it as a compliment. Tynan is smart, but he just needed to be refreshed on pre-algebra and algebra 1. (considering he took those classes when he was my age)
Friends. I love friends but life is so crazy nowadays that I hardly see them. It is usually a quick "hey" in the halls, or a high-five. I am trying to find more time to chill with them but with being a seventh grader, it is not always easy to do.
Play Practice. I am in the Spring Musical for my middle school. We are preforming the Music Man. Even though I am just a townsperson, I still go to all the rehearsals after school 3 out of 5 days a week. I am excited to have the priveledge to preform for my friends and family and it will be a good expirience. I am pretty pumped, our first preformances are only 2 weeks away!
Sports. If you know me, you know I am always looking for a good sport to play. From Basketball to Soccer to Softball to Volleyball, I do them all. I recently competed in the playoffs for churchball. Our game was yesterday, and we lost, but we had a great time playing and we lost with a smile. In early april, I am starting fast pitch, city league softball. I am pretty psyched and I am eager to begin playing games. Also, our ward is starting summer volleyball soon so I always will be doing something active this summer.
Family. Spending time with sibs and the 'rents is VERY important. I try to hang with them, but all of our schedules are CRAZZZZZZY! We try to organize family activities though and those are always fun. Whether it is geocaching, camping, or just seeing a movie at the dollar theater, they are all equally fun. :D
Well, I feel like making food or something, so I will talk to you later. (And I will honestly try my best to keep this blog updated)
